A Monthly Presentation of Visionaries of Cosplay

Cosplay... the art of costume play... The term "cosplay" has many different meanings for everyone... and with its different meanings comes different interpretations, whether it be a unique form of costume design, the similarity of a cosplayer to their chosen character, or their outreach to the vast cosplay community. It is here that we would like to share these unique outlooks on cosplay... and present to you a vast array of different styles, dreams... and visions... CosVisions.

Each month, we will present a cosplayer who is recognized for their unique contribution to cosplay. Through their constant persistance, these cosplayers reflect their own essence of costume-making, character development, and overall perseverance when it comes to creating something from concept to reality. This is not so much a who-is-best or anything of the sort, but a chance for everyone from all over the cosplay community to have their moment to shine. It is with great respect that we honor the following cosplayers as our monthly CosVisionary.

Would you like to request to have someone be a featured cosplayer on our site?

Though we would love to feature almost everyone that has seasoned the cosplay spectrum, there are a few requirements that go into the presentation process. These requirements are:

  • Owns at least 3 costumes of any genre.

  • Cosplayer should make their own costumes (commissioned costumes need not apply).

  • Demonstrate keen detail to the costumes they make, and the characters they mean to portray

If you believe you met the requirements listed, and would like to be presented as a monthly CosVisionary, please send us an email with the title "CosVisions submission" and provide us with the following:

  • Email pictures as attachments of your best costumes, and reference pictures of the characters.

  • A short description on what your cosplay is about.

  • information pertaining towards each requirement.

We wish you the best of luck! And remember, just because one might not get presented in CosVisions does not mean they are a bad cosplayer. In cosplay, everyone wins. Best of luck to all!
