Convention Report for Anime Oasis 2006

Anime
Oasis is a small convention located in Boise Idaho. But don't
let the size fool you. This has got to be one of the most
enjoyable small conventions out there.
Jeremy, the owner of the convention, has so much energy,
and also has fun during the convention, which also makes
it very enjoyable.
Again our photo booth was a great success. All of the
events were handled really well, and were very popular
with everyone there. One of the best events was the Battle
cosplay. So far Anime Oasis is the only con with Battle
cosplay. It works almost like Live action role
playing.
The only downside was that the hotel fire alarm went off
twice, which leaded to everyone had to go out into the
parking lot, and it was cold outside. It seems that the
hotels fire alarm sensor is sensitive. This didn't happen
last year, but hopefully it wont next year. Other than
that, the convention itself didn't have any
downsides.
The hotel was nice and small, so things weren't spread
apart, but comfortably kept close which was really
nice.
Overall this Convention has always been a great success.
The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Anime
Oasis is highly recommended by us if you want to visit a
convention where you can relax and enjoy yourself, and is
also a very nice. Wish it would last longer than just 3
days!
