Convention Report for Animethon 13 written by Pikmin Link Animethon 13 was held at the the Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel and the MacEwan College. There were a good amount of guests and it was packed with events. This year was especially nice because the Cosplay was held at the hotel, which I think made it even better. Other contests included the Anime Music Video contest, and Karaoke. The dealers hall was in the parking garage which was under the college, no cars were allowed access, so it was actually a nice big space for the dealers to pack their stuff out.  The convention also had a bus going from the hotel to the college almost every 15-30 mins. So you didn't need to walk from the con back to the hotel. The panels were very interesting and great to watch. The staff was great, and the whole programing turned out very well. Our studio room was again a huge success. If you want a great comfortable sized convention that's packed with events, we recommend that you attend Animethon up in Alberta Canada, especially those in the area, we wouldnt want to miss next years.
