Convention Report for
Sakura Con 2006

This was our first time at Sakura Con. And we had a great
time. The location was nice with the convention center,
but the hotels were expensive. There were places inside
the con center to buy food, which made it easy for
everyone and didn't have to leave the convention to find
something good to eat.
The convention was very spread out, and sometimes
difficult to get lost between the floors, but when we
figured out where everything was, it much easier.
The only problem was the way the cosplay contest was done.
I believe they used surround sound for the sound, music.
And when someone on stage talked with a mic or pre
recording, it was very difficult to understand what going
on.
We didn't get a chance to see most of the events at the
con, but there were a nice amount of attendees, so we were
able to take photos of them. The con wasn't very crowded,
everyone was spread out.
Overall the Convention turned out very well. The location
worked out really well, and the con staff was both nice and friendly.
Sakura con, is a fun and enjoyable convention to attend.
